Maps & Locations

The battlefields, planets, and key locations across the galaxy in Zero Company's campaign. From Geonosis to Umbara, the Clone Wars rages everywhere.

Table of Contents

The Den — Your Base of Operations

Between missions, Zero Company operates out of a mercenary base called The Den. This is your headquarters for managing the squad, upgrading equipment, and planning the next operation.

Med Bay

Heal injuries sustained in combat. Operatives with untreated injuries cannot deploy on missions. Upgrade the med bay to reduce healing time and treat more severe wounds.

Research Lab

Conduct research to unlock new technologies, weapon mods, and abilities. Research projects take cycles to complete — prioritize based on your playstyle.

The Black Market

Purchase weapons, equipment, consumables, and cosmetic items. The Black Market inventory refreshes periodically. The "Where Credit Is Due" achievement is earned by making your first purchase here.

Armory

Customize loadouts, apply weapon mods, and manage your squad's gear. The armory is where you prepare for the challenges ahead.

Time Cycles

The game advances in cycles as you complete missions. Some objectives are time-limited and will expire if not completed in time. Balancing research, healing, and mission deployment is key to staying ahead of The Coil.

Galactic Zones

The campaign spans multiple zones across Republic space. Each zone contains a cluster of missions and investigation opportunities. Confirmed planets include Geonosis, Felucia, and Umbara — all iconic Clone Wars battlegrounds.

Zone Rewards

Completing all major objectives in a zone unlocks a Zone Reward — unique equipment, recruits, or strategic advantages. The "To the Victor Go the Spoils" achievement unlocks your first Zone Reward, while "Across the Stars" requires unlocking all Zone Rewards in the campaign.

Mission Types

Tactical Combat Missions

Primary

Standard turn-based tactical battles against enemy forces. Objectives vary: elimination, extraction, defense, sabotage. Enemy placement is procedurally generated, meaning no two playthroughs have identical enemy layouts. Lead your squad of five into battle.

Investigation Missions

Non-Combat

Intel-gathering operations where you make narrative decisions. These investigations can lead to consequences several cycles later. Choose carefully — the information you gather (or miss) affects later missions.

Optional Missions

Side Content

Side contracts that provide extra credits, equipment, and experience. The "Active Duty" achievement requires completing 50 optional missions in a single campaign.

Loyalty Missions

Character

Unique story sequences tied to specific squad members. Completing loyalty missions deepens your understanding of the character and can unlock powerful combat bonuses. Inspired by Mass Effect's loyalty system.

Battlefield Features

Zero Company's combat environments are handcrafted by developers with procedurally generated enemy placement. Key battlefield elements include:

Verticality

High ground provides significant combat advantages. The "High Ground" achievement requires defeating 10 enemies from elevated positions. Use jetpacks, ladders, and natural terrain to gain the upper hand.

Destructible Cover

Environments are heavily destructible. Explosions and heavy weapons can destroy walls and barriers, creating new sightlines — or removing your own cover.

Environmental Hazards

Force-push enemies into environmental hazards or off ledges. The "Watch That First Step" achievement specifically rewards knocking enemies out of the combat space.

Dynamic Effects

Volumetric smoke, explosions, and lighting create immersive battlefields. The game runs at a solid 60 FPS on console even with many units and effects on screen.

Between-Battle Exploration

Outside of combat, players can explore environments from a third-person perspective — a rarity for the genre. These explorable sections are styled similarly to cinematic action-adventure games, with detailed character models and immersive lighting. Bit Reactor confirmed that during story missions, players will be able to walk around levels and explore them outside of combat.
